Whitney Arch, Alabama Hills, CA
The Alabama Hills are full of movie history; many of the 1950's Western's were filmed here. But the Alabama Hills are unique in and of themselves, with unique rock formations, arches, and views of 14,000 ft peaks. This arch is known as Whitney Arch (also known as Mobius Arch) because one can see Mt. Whitney through it. I, however, decided not to show Mt. Whitney through the arch and focused on its neighboring peaks with great sunrise light on them.
