Racetrack, Death Valley NP, CA
The Racetrack in Death Valley NP is a large playa, a dried up lake bed. While no one has seen it occur, the prints in the playa bed provide the evidence of these boulders racing across surface. Scientists conjecture that after a large rain, high winds could push the boulders and form the tracks, but no one knows for sure.
