Dunes, Death Valley NP, CA
Before my first trip to Death Valley, my vision of the national park was a land covered in sand dunes. In reality, only a small portion of the park is covered in sand dunes. Still, one can hike for what seems like forever over these ever changing mountains of sand to discover what seems like an untouched landscape.
