Castle Rock Beach Boulder
The East Shore of Lake Tahoe is littered with large boulders up an down the shoreline, but few look like this one. After a Fall rain, many of the boulders were still damp, allowing the more subdued colors of the rock to shine. The damp green algae on this particular boulder shimmered in the sunset light, and set this boulder apart from its peers.
